These Terms and Conditions are the standard terms for the provision of services by Sister Minor Design, a sole trader whose registered address is 36 The Crescent, Tettenhall Wood, Wolverhampton, WV6 8LA. When commissioning any design work from Sister Minor Design, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined below.
Indicative estimates
I endeavour to provide accurate estimates based upon experience, but these costs may change dependent on a more detailed understanding of the full requirements once a creative route has been agreed and a project plan has been developed.
Payment schedule
Before I begin providing services, you will be required to pay a deposit as follows:
A. Total value of work under £7.5k will require a minimum 50% deposit
B. Total value of work over £7.5k will require a minimum 25% deposit
Payment dates (or milestones) for the remaining balance will also be agreed with you prior to commencement of the project. The client shall pay each invoice submitted by Sister Minor Design within 30 days of the date of the invoice. Please note that I will commence staged work only once any previous invoices have been settled.
Production costs
All prices exclude third party costs such as print, copywriting, photography, web development or illustration that may be required (unless specified).
Late payments
If the full payment is not paid within 30 days, a ‘late payment’ fee will be charged at a 8% rate of the unpaid invoice, along with a fixed sum of £10 for the cost of recovering a late payment under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. This initial 8% will be added upon each recurring 30 day period until the full amount has been received.
Cancellations
If for any reason the project is cancelled after work has started, a cancellation fee based on the stage of projects completion shall be paid by the client, and Sister Minor Design retains ownership of all copyrights to the artwork.
Rights and Ownership
On undertaking this project you agree that any creative work, ideas, imagery and intellectual property created will belong to Sister Minor Design until the entire project fees have been settled in full, at which point I agree to transfer ownership to the client. Any unused creative proposals will remain the intellectual property of Sister Minor Design unless otherwise agreed. Sister Minor Design reserves the right to display final work as part of my portfolio. Sister Minor Design reserves the right to photograph all completed designs to use for publications or other promotional purposes.
Acceptance of terms
Sister Minor Design as sender and the client as recipient will acknowledge acceptance of these terms via email before commencement of the project.
